Matea Rexhepi supports Alber & Geiger’s clients by providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, advocacy, and administrative law. Her expertise includes monitoring electoral processes and rule-of-law standards gained from her experience.
Before joining Alber & Geiger, Matea worked on projects focused on minority rights at the Center for Social Advocacy and served as a lawyer at the Regional Employment Directorate in Berat. She also monitored electoral and rule-of-law standards as a Long-Term Observer for the Albanian Helsinki Committee. As a parliamentary candidate with the Socialist Party in Albania, she further deepened her practical understanding of the political landscape. In addition, she has taken part in international training programmes by the Council of Europe, ODIHR, and other European institutions.
Matea holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Civil Law from the University of Tirana and is a licensed lawyer of the National Chamber of Advocacy of Albania.
